ADJECTIVE PREFIXES
Used with an adjective the prefixes in or im mean "not." Inimicus means "not friendly," because of in+amicus. The prefix per means "very."

The suffixes ia or tia are added sometimes to adjectives to make them a noun. Amicus+tia = amicitia, which means "friendship." Ia or tia mean
"-ness" or "-ship." The suffix tas or tatis does the same thing.
